Retour d'une promenade en mer (1896)
You can look at the Lumiere Brothers filmmography and see that there's a very large number of films that were made early on. Clearly they were out there filming just about anything they could and this here is a rather lazy effort. Perhaps lazy is the wrong word to use but there's certainly nothing too entertaining here. A couple people are on a small boat and they throw a rope up to another group of people so that they can tie the boat down. Yeah, that's the only thing going on in this film that clocks in just under a minute. At least you get some nice views of the old boat as well as the tyep of clothing people were wearing at the time but outside of this there's not too much here.
